Similar to The Museum, this project used scaling down to achieve workability. Here a studio model was built on a 1/10 scale for experimenting with projection of images and video. The model was for real viewing from the spectators perspective while allowing easy access to all the elements needed to get and manipulate projections. A “lattice roof” was built to hang screens or panels from, a large fixed size screen was built against the far wall. Projection was done with the same mini projector described in The Museum section. Additional laser and other lighting can be introduced through the open side using small mirror or screens (not shown here). This studio model has now been used to build my actual 1/1 scale studio, where larger tryouts are achieved with more powerful equipment.
